Once Upon a Time Nursery provides high-quality childcare in Maltby, Rotherham. Children can discover, achieve and express themselves through play and where parents/carers feel confident to leave their child in a safe environment. We are committed to providing a high level of care and therefore seek to recruit well trained qualified members of staff with a compassionate and caring outlook.
Once Upon a Time Nursery is a privately owned setting situated within the Rotherham area. Operating from a large building within Maltby which is registered for 90 children from birth to 5 years.
Our Stay and Play sessions are offered to all our families throughout the nursery every term. This allows us all to make strong parent partnerships, build strong communications and confidence – which are all highly important to us.
Within the building there are 3 rooms, these are:
Baby Room
Birth – 2 years
Toddler 2
2 – 3 years
Pre-School
3 - 5 years (2 rooms and Floor Space = 36 (Upstairs)
We work under the guidelines of The Children Food Trust ‘Eat Better, Do Better’ which helps early years’ providers and practitioners encourage children to eat well and learn about food in their early years, which not only protects their health when they are young, but also sets the foundations for their future health and wellbeing. Our menus are planned and changed seasonally developing our children’s learning and providing teaching opportunities.
